Memories of Jerry – from M&M
Some of the fondest memories we have of Jerry are that he could always find humour in most situations. Regardless of the miles separating us, we were as close as if we were back at 155 having a cup of tea. If you asked Jerry how he was, the answer was always fine love. He never let his handicap get him down. I did ask him one day if he ever got mad at the hand he was dealt, and he said, no, he just got on with life; so positive.
Growing up we were not rich in material things, but Mum and Dad always made sure we had lots of love. We had more fun sitting around the fire singing; of course Sheila was our star, also Joe if he could remember the words.
Even in the fight of his life Jerry was in control leaving us on his time, not ours.
Jerry we will miss you, rest in peace you have earned it.
Love from your sisters, May and Margaret aka M and M xxxxx
